National Astroparticle Physics Research Network Launch

McDonald’s Nobel Prize-winning work and bolster Canada’s capacity for leadership and excellence in astroparticle physics research.  Meet the people behind this network, made possible with a $63.7M CFREF grant, and celebrate the science that will push the boundaries of our understanding of the universe.

Following, guests are also welcome to tour the new Visitor Centre in Stirling Hall, 64 Bader Lane, Room 302.  Shuttle provided.

The partners in the CPARC initiative include institutions from across Canada that are active in particle astrophysics research. CPARC is also strengthened through partnerships with institutes and laboratories across Canada.

ParkingParking at the Isabel (hold on enforcement from 10 am - 1 pm) and Queen's surface lots (hold on enforcement from 1 pm - 3 pm). Complimentary shuttle from Stirling to the Isabel (10 am - 2 pm). 

Accommodation Block: Four Points by Sheraton Kingston, 285 King Street, Kingston. The rate is $140 (Queen's Rate)/night for a standard king bed (May 9 and/or 10) if booked by April 20th.
