Room Check In

Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre 3 pm  

Arrive at the hotel. Unpack and get settled.

 

Event Check In Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre 3 - 6:30 pm Stop by our registration table near the main door of the Donald Gordon Centre. Pick up your registration package and reconnect with other participants.
Casual Class Dinners Local restaurants 6 - 9 pm    Dinner locations will be shared with registrants. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024

Event Location Time Description
Breakfast Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre 8-9:30 am Breakfast is included with your room booking.
Tour The Law Building 10-10:45 am Gather at The Law Building for a guided tour. Classes will be in session and the energy in the building will be high.
Roundtable Conversations with Current Students The Law Building 11 am - 12:30 pm Split into small groups and chat with current students. Hear what inspires them, and what they see themselves doing in the future. Share your experiences and encouragements.
Faculty of Law Lunch Social The Law Building 12:30 - 2 pm After the roundtable we'll gather at The Law Building for a lunch social to catch up with old friends, meet current students, and faculty. 
Free Time Campus, downtown, or the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre 2 - 6 pm There are many sites to explore on campus, and around town. Make some plans with your classmates or take some time on your own.
Dinner Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre 6 pm Cocktails, 7 pm Dinner Join us for an evening of comradery and reminiscing over a delicious meal.

The Donald Gordon Centre is an accessible space. Some accessibility details include:

  • Outside ramp access into main entrance width is 36in to 36.5in (2x 90 degree turns) 
  • Elevator doorways 41in (doors open on opposite sides. You will exit on a different side as you enter). Width 55in, Length 77in 
  • Guestroom doorway 34.5in width
  • Guestroom washroom doorway 30in width
  • 4 semi-accessible guestrooms with grab bars. Renovations in the next 2 years bringing them up to code 
  • 4 accessible parking spots 
  • Elevators to all floors 
  • Main common area has accessible public washrooms with push to open buttons and stall 

The Law Building is fully accessible.
