A night to mark his decades of leadership, philanthropy, and service to Queen’s, we invite you to join us for a farewell celebration for Chancellor Emeritus Jim Leech on Friday, June 24, 2022. During his seven-year tenure as the university’s highest officer, Chancellor Emeritus Leech had a direct impact on the lives of countless students and enriched the Queen’s community with his dedicated and tireless service.
Grant Hall, the best-known landmark on campus and where Chancellor Leech convocated 43,601 Queen’s graduates, serves as an appropriate setting for the evening. It’s a space rich with memories, the site of his installation as chancellor in 2014, and a venue that will remind all in attendance of the meaningful role Chancellor Leech played in the lives of students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and donors across the Queen’s community.
