In addition to founding the Aldrich Chemical Company, which through a series of mergers became MilliporeSigma, Dr. Alfred Bader, BSc’45, BA’46, MSc’47, LLD’86, was a transformative benefactor of chemistry, the arts, and philanthropy worldwide.
This free-of-charge symposium will feature keynote and plenary speakers from chemistry and the arts, the Bader Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Scholar Lectures, a multidisciplinary poster session, and an artistic/musical exhibition.
The symposium will conclude with a plenary lecture by Dr. Daniel Bader, CEO and President of Bader Philanthropies, Inc., made possible through the Brockington Visitorship.
This event is organized by the Queen's University International Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society (Q-ACS).
