Come one, come all and join us for a fun afternoon skate in support of the Children’s Cottage Society hosted by the Calgary Branch! Alumni, friends, and family of all ages welcome. Don't have your own skates? Rentals are available from the Skate Hut.
Over the last 36 years, the Children’s Cottage Society has served over 77,000 children from 52,000 families in crisis. Today, they provide care and support through prevention and early intervention programs at their Crisis Nursery (in Bridgeland), a shelter for families experiencing homelessness called Brenda’s House (in Killarney), and the Calgary West Family Resource Network located in Bowness. In 2021 alone, Brenda’s House helped 89 families including 144 children.
So come lace up some skates, enjoy a hot cocoa, and bring along a donation of a much-needed item from the Children’s Cottage Society’s Winter Wish List to set them up for another year of success.
