Join us on Thursday, August 22 at one of nine watch party locations throughout Africa for the final pitch competition of the Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship on Entrepreneurship. Watch top African fellows compete for a share of $20,000 CAD in seed funding as they showcase their innovative ideas.
This event is organized by the Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre (DDQIC) and will feature the top fellows of the program who have the opportunity to advance their early-stage venture through funding and mentorship. After eight months of rigorous training, mentorship, and customer validation, the top 15 fellows of the final launch phase will compete in this final pitch competition.
Attendees can expect high-stakes presentations, networking opportunities, and the chance to witness the next generation of African entrepreneurs kick-start their ventures. Alumni, family, and friends are welcome to attend. Finger foods will be available at all locations. Dress code: Business casual.
