Welcome to the main page for IDEAS Initiative Volunteers.

We are always actively seeking new organizational and individual members. To sign up as an official member of The IDEAS Initiative, simply email physcamp@queensu.ca with your interest and affiliation!

What does it mean to be an Organizational member?

Organizational members are any institution, society, or group who is interested in joining The IDEAS Initiative. If your organization is a member:

• You may call upon The IDEAS Initiative to provide volunteer scientists to support your own programming.

• IDEAS Initiative organizations may ask you to cross-promote if appropriate

• You will be asked (with no obligation) to support an IDEAS Camp in your region.

• You will be asked to encourage local scientists to join the IDEAS Initiative

What does it mean to be an Individual member?

Individual members are any people interested in joining The IDEA Initiative. If you are involved at any degree with the scientific community - students, teachers, academics, or staff related to science-based organizations, you are encouraged to join. If you are a member:

• There will be no time, effort, or financial requirement.

• You may call upon The IDEAS Initiative to provide volunteer scientists to support your own programming.

• You can propose new programmes that make use of the IDEAS Infrastructure.

• You will be asked (with no obligation) to aid in the development or delivery of IDEAS-affiliated programming.

• You will be asked to participate (with no obligation) in supporting an IDEAS Camp in your region

• You will be asked to encourage other individuals in your community to join The IDEAS Initiative.
