Drew Feustel, PhD’95, dreamed of being an astronaut as a child. Decades later he cold-called Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield and kick-started his path to NASA. It’s one that included some surprising steps – work as a mechanic, community college, coming to Canada and ultimately becoming a Canadian. Now on his third expedition to space (mission 55/56) during which he will be commander of the International Space Station, Drew is a seasoned astronaut – and he makes us extremely proud.
