Researchers across campus make sound waves that are permeating the radio and podcast world. Queen’s-based radio programs and podcasts provide a rich media experience where researchers can share directly with the public and other stakeholders the impact of their work at the University.

Blind Date with Knowledge

“Blind Date with Knowledge” was a radio talk show about research and the impact of research, and featured scholars from across faculties and disciplines. It ran for three seasons, from January 2018 to December 2019.

The goals of this show were to demystify scholarly research and to personalize the research process.

In these episodes, you will discover the motivations, passions, discoveries and goals of Queen's researchers.

The show aired on CFRC radio, 101.9FM, campus and community Queen’s radio. Each episode featured Queen’s researchers from across disciplines discussing the significance and benefits of their research projects on everyday lives.

  • disseminate their research to a wider audience, i.e. not necessarily for people in the field
  • get others excited about what they are doing and why
