Queen's Employment Equity Award
In 2015, before our name change, QWN members were awarded the Employment Equity Award as YWQ - Young Women at Queen's (our former group name). It was presented to us in 2016 at the awards ceremony. This award is one of three annual Tri-Awards coordinated through the Equity and Human Rights Offices on campus. This award is given annually to recognize and celebrate the achievements of individuals, groups, or organizations that through their ongoing diligence and commitment, are going above and beyond legislated requirements or their institutional mandate, thereby helping Queen's become a truly representative and inclusive workplace. Congratulations to all! More photos are showcased in the "YWQ wins an Equity Award!!!" news article.
