The field of black studies is a complex field, understanding blackness as relational and situating black activist and intellectual life as intimately connected to a range of nonblack radical struggles. This conversation has two orienting questions: What is black studies? And can we imagine black studies at Queen’s University? Please join us for brief papers and an open discussion about the possibilities and limitations of black studies….!
The Department of Gender Studies hosts regular talks that are of interest to faculty, staff, and students. All community members are welcome to attend.
