Congratulations to Dr. von Hlatky!  Stéfanie von Hlatky, a professor in the Department of Political Studies and the Faculty of Arts and Science Associate Dean (Research), has won a prestigious national fellowship award, The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation's Distinguished Fellowship for 2024-2027. Dr. von Hlatky was one of four exceptional Canadian intellectuals awarded a Trudeau Fellowship "for their research excellence, their leadership as engaged educators and their solid skills in academic teaching and mentoring."  She is only the fourth Queen's University faculty member to win this coveted award, and the first woman to do so. Dr. von Hlatky is also the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Gender, Security and the Armed Forces.
