Prof. Shastri of our department is recognized by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for his research achievements and potential for leadership in his field. The prestigious 2025 Sloan Research Fellowship is given "to early-career researchers whose creativity, innovation, and research accomplishments make them stand out as the next generation of leaders".
