November 29, 2022: U.S. Patent No. 11,512,207 "Anti-smudge and Anti-graffiti Compositions"

Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 11,512,207 entitled, "Anti-smudge and Anti-graffiti Compositions," on November 29, 2022 to Heng Hu and Guojun Liu. The patent relates to polyurethane-based and epoxy-based coating compositions that provide coatings and adhesives that are clear, amphiphobic and durable. Both water and hexadecane readily slide off these surfaces without leaving a residue.
