Ultrafast Laser Lab
- Reconfigurable experimental stations adaptable to exploring a wide variety of research questions.
- State of the art ultrafast lasers (pulses shorter than 100 fs) and tunable from deep blue to infrared, and a repetition rates up to 76 MHz.
- Detectors sensitive enough to measure a single photons.
- Closed-loop cryogenic vacuum systems capable of taking samples down to temperatures approaching absolute zero.
- Stable coupled optical tables floating on air for students to build prototypes and experimental apparatus of their own design.
