Dr. Linder's research focuses on information theory and communications, with particular interest in lossy source coding, joint source-channel coding, and the interplay between information theory and statistical learning. Recent projects include real-time source coding, information theoretic privacy, joint source-channel coding in networks, and quantization in stochastic control.
