The education I received in the PhD program at Queen's helped me to have a strong start in my career, and nowadays I feel as part of a larger academic community around the mathematical subjects that I am most interested in. Currently I have a faculty position and I actively participate in conferences and other academic activities. I remember my years at Queen's as a happy and productive period in my career. During that time I frequently participated in very interesting seminars on different topics, and I strongly recommend to future students that they also take advantage of that opportunity.
