Professor Donato Santeramo has been appointed as the dramaturge, adapter, and narrator for the upcoming staging of Dante's "Hell" at the Stratford Theatre Festival. The production, titled "Dante's Inferno: Journey of Knowledge and Experience", is scheduled to open on June 10, 2025 at Lazaridis Hall, Tom Patterson Theatre.

Under the direction of Daniele Bartolini, this innovative adaptation aims to offer a profound exploration of Dante Alighieri's classic work, delving into themes of knowledge, experience, and the human condition. Professor Santeramo's expertise in Italian literature and theater will be instrumental in bringing authenticity and depth to the performance. His roles as both adapter and narrator will help bridge the 14th-century text with contemporary audiences.
