Active Intervention for Graduate Students

It Takes All of Us Thumbnail

This online training will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to interrupt and intervene when you see incidents of sexual violence on our campus and in community. While this training focuses on intervening in situations of sexual violence, these skills can be used in any kind of concerning situation. We will discuss how sexual violence intersects with other forms of oppression. For example, you may encounter situations where someone is experiencing harassment that is not only sexual but also racist or ableist in nature.

You may find this topic difficult. Pay attention to your emotional and physical needs. It’s okay if you need to take a break or temporarily leave the module. You can always re-open the course to continue. If you're looking for support, the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Services website has a list of resources available on campus and in the community.

Note: Ensure you have 45–minutes of uninterrupted time to complete this module. The module will eventually time–out due to inactivity. Refreshing the page after time–out will cause progress in the module to be lost and you will need to complete the module again.

Thank you
