Queen’s will soon launch the second phase of the Activity Data Collection, the final part of Queen's participation in NousCubane’s UniForum benchmarking activities for this year. This benchmarking is one element of many that the Professional Services Working Group (PSWG) will consider as part of the Queen’s Renew Program

Starting this week and continuing into late June, a few hundred identified respondents—primarily managers—will take part in Activity Data Collection Part 2. Participants will report on the proportions of time spent by their team members across various activity categories. This initiative aims to identify the primary categories of work being performed in positions across the university, rather than tracking time or monitoring daily activities.

Selected participants will receive direct communications from their portfolio leadership with more information, support and materials to assist with the Activity Data Collection. Later this week, participants will receive an email from NousCubane’s UniForum system with access information.

Following this spring’s survey and data collection activities, an announcement about Queen’s Renew Program and an update on benchmarking activities will be shared with the campus community in Fall 2024. Future surveying and data collection will occur only once per year. The next Activity Data Collection will happen in May/June 2025, and the next Service Effectiveness Survey will take place in November 2025.
