Call for nominations: Principal's Teaching and Learning Awards

The nomination period for the Principal's Teaching and Learning Awards is now open until January 31, 2025.
These annual awards celebrate teaching excellence and the diverse ways in which the student learning experience is enhanced by educators, educational supports, and staff at Queen’s. This type of institutional recognition can translate to being recognized at provincial, national, and international levels.
Award categories
- Indigenous Education Award, in partnership with the Office of Indigenous Initiatives
- Alumni Award for Engaging Students as Partners in Learning, in partnership with the Queen’s University Alumni Association
- Educational Leadership Award, in partnership with the Centre for Teaching and Learning
- Educational Technology Award, in partnership with Information Technology Services
- Globally Engaged Education Innovation Award, in partnership with the Office of the Vice-Provost (Global Engagement)
- Promoting Student Inquiry Teaching Award, in partnership with Queen’s Libraries
Nominations may be submitted by students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Self-nominations are also accepted. Details about how to submit nominations, as well as guidelines and selection criteria for each of the awards, are available on the Office of the Principal and Vice-Chancellor’s website.
