Title: Reclaiming Children’s ‘Right to the City’ through Street Rebalancing: Contrasting Stakeholder Perspectives from Kingston, Ontario
Bio: Dr. Patricia Collins is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning at Queen’s University. Her research focuses on healthy community planning and healthy built environments. She is currently leading a population health intervention study that seeks to evaluate the effects of street rebalancing interventions on children’s health and well-being. She has also engaged in various studies related to commuting patterns, food insecurity, integrated sustainability planning, and public school closures.
