We Believe You Day

This event is hosted by SAC Kingston (https://www.sackingston.com/) and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Services (https://www.queensu.ca/sexualviolencesupport/).
We recognize that supporting survivors is essential. Join us, along with the Sexual Assault Centre Kingston and show your support by:
- Creating and printing a poster with the message: “We believe you” or “Believe Survivors.”
- Putting it in the window of your residence or workplace.
Post on social media using the hashtag #WeBelieveYouYGK (https://www.queensu.ca/sexualviolencesupport/consent-awareness-week#WeBelieveYouYGK). Take pictures of your posters and share them on social media throughout the week. Messages of solidarity and support can include posts such as:
- We Believe You
- #MeToo
- Support Survivors
- Hey Ho Hey Ho! Patriarchy Has Got To Go!
- Consent is Hot, Assault Is Not
- My Dress Does Not Equal Yes
- Trans Rights Are Equal Rights
