This event is part of Student Voices Week, a concentrated series of opportunities to engage in conversations about equity and allyship at Queen's and to celebrate the equity-focused work being done by students across campus.

Unless otherwise noted, all Student Voices Week events are open to any students looking to be part of the shift towards a safer and more inclusive campus culture for everyone.

Equity Town Hall

Join the AMS Social Issues Commission and the Student Experience office on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, for the Winter 2024 Equity Town Hall at Mitchell Hall Rose Innovation Hub!

This event aims to create a transparent channel of communication between Queen's admin and the students they serve. This will allow students to raise questions or concerns regarding equity, diversity and inclusion on campus.

Our goal is to create a transparent way for communication between students and admin and to facilitate a constructive dialogue on the equity work on campus. We are organizing a moderated discussion where students are encouraged to ask questions and voice their concerns.

If you're out here asking, "Why should I attend?" let us give you the most important reason why: YOUR. VOICE. MATTERS.

If you've ever complained something's amiss at Queen's University or in the society you live in, you should know that nothing will change until people who care enough begin having these conversations to nudge towards a more inclusive and safe future.

You must use this form to ask Queen's admin questions for this town hall. This is to make sure we can facilitate a safe space for everyone.

Please email the Sic.internal@ams.queensu.ca or sic.external@ams.queensu.ca for any questions or concerns.

Hope to see you there!
