Location
Mac-Corry B201This event is brought to you by Queen's Northern Research Network with support from the Queen's Office of Indigenous Initiatives.
Come join the Queen's Northern Research Network (QNRN) for a screening of the film Signal Fire (2023), based on the 10 Calls to Action to Natural Scientists Working in Canada paper by Carmen et al. (2020). A link to the website of this project including access to the paper can be found here: https://www.signalfirefilm.ca/. The screening will be followed by a guided discussion, as well bring your own mug as we will have a hot chocolate station with all the 'fixins for your film-viewing experience.
QNRN is a newly forming student-led initiative that aims to bring together Northern researchers at Queen's across disciplines to foster community and knowledge sharing regarding Northern Issues. We are in our early stages of becoming an official group here at Queen's and would love for you to join either as a general member or with a more active role in helping organize and lead QNRN.
