In a time where division runs deep and loneliness born from lack of genuine conversation, this book club is one where we invite students to delve into a series of social issues to learn of different narratives that exist to appreciate the complexity of social issues. We meet once a month and you can read book from our recommended list or others that pique your interest so long as they fit the topic.

We know learning, growing, and socializing are so much fun already but...we should also mention there will be food present. Yum! 

That's not all! If you participate during September, October, and November programming, you'll be invited to our Resin Bookmark Making Pizza Party in December. SO EXCITED! If you participate during January, February, and March, you will be invited to our Productive Pastime Mural Painting End-of-Year Party. 

🍂 SEPTEMBER

For September, our focus will be on Indigeneity and reconciliation to commemorate National Day of Truth and Reconciliation Day (Sept 30).           

👥 Sept's Hangout

Location: Yellowhouse Rideau Space (Thank you YH team for letting us use the space!)

Sept's Hangout Time: Oct 1, 2023 6 – 7 pm. (We know it's technically after September. Life is funny like that.) 

Registration Logistics: Registration begins now and is rolling basis until capacity is reached/Sept 26th.
