Observance - National Day of Truth & Reconciliation

Please note that 4D will only be open to Indigenous Queen's University Students to gather as a safe space. Settler and non-Indigenous allies are encouraged to attend events for the broader community organized by the Office of Indigenous Initiatives (OII) 

Indigenous students are welcome to find community at 4D on this date. Please feel free to drop-in or hang out all day. We will have a Sacred Fire, a Sharing and Gratitude Circle, cultural crafting and a quiet space. Lunch will be served.

What will the day look like? 

10:00 am - Welcome and Opening Address
10:30 am - Orange Shirt Story
11:00 am - Drumming
12:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - Afternoon Sharing & Gratitude Circle
2:00 pm - Memorial and Closing Address
