A student’s personal life, their feelings about themselves, their anxiety over workloads all play role in how they show up in the world and their success in studies and academic life. An important part of my job is to help students to strategize and to pass forward through difficult times. Communication starts with kindness, recognition and acceptance, and also, creating an environment where students feel comfortable seeking help.
I provide students with the necessary tools and resources to help with academic career planning as well as developing good mental health practices. I am truly amazed by our students’ hard work and successes and proud of their achievements.
