Supported by the valuable contributions of Queen's Ph.D. candidate, Adekunle Adeniji, the Denver Art Museum has recently reopened its African art installations. In his role as the DAM's Anderman Family Fellow for African Art, Adeniji has lent his expertise in African art to the reinstallation process; he has guided thematic development by selecting artworks for display, and his extensive research into individual works informs the interpretation of the collection. "His expertise in African art has been instrumental in creating a compelling and informative exhibition."
