Art Conservation student Tirza Harris is the first recipient of the National Gallery of Canada's new NGC Conservation Internship Program for Diversity. The Program is a collaborative effort with the Art Conservation program at Queen's and the Canadian Conservation Institute, and aims to increase the representation of diverse professionals.

Each intern receives a $25,000 bursary, and will be paired with experts from the NGC's Restoration and Conservation Laboratory and the CCI.
