The Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study (SASS) awarded Art History alumna MaryClaire Pappas (M.A. '15) with the Aurora Borealis Prize in History for her paper, "Dangerous Affectations: Orientalism and Jean Heiberg's Nudes". Pappas is also one of three organizers of the upcoming conference, Nordic Nature: Art, Ecology, Landscape in Norway. Congratulations, MaryClaire!
