Art Conservation students Melissa Allen, Caroline Longo, and Antonia Mappin-Kasirer traveled this month to the Bader International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle, UK, to document, inventory, and assess artifacts with the University of Waterloo's DRAGEN Lab. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Emy Kim, and Adjunct Professor Emerita Krysia Spirydowicz, the students took part in a collaborative digitization project -- 3D scanning, modelling, and printing historical objects to make them more accessible in a digital archive.
