Our Mandate

Access and Inclusion works towards increasing and improving awareness, access, and participation in post-secondary education by assisting underrepresented, equity-deserving, first-generation students, parents/caregivers and community partners.

The Access and Inclusion Team

Our Team Serves To:

 Be a hub for information sharing to demystify higher education for students, parents/ caregivers, community partners and school boards. 

 Develop and create programming tailored for prospective students and those interested in post-secondary access,

 Provide a centralized and consistent point of contact to students, parents and community partners interested in learning more about Queen's. 

 Connect prospective students to relevant campus resources and supports to create a seamless hands-off and ease the transition to the first year.

Manager Access and Inclusion 

15+ years of direct experience in community outreach, relationship building, and providing educational support to various students from underserved communities throughout the GTA.

Shoshannah Bennett-Dwara

Recruitment Coordinator 

Shoshannah works directly with underrepresented communities in the GTA to assist in navigating the process of obtaining a post-secondary education. She has spent 4+ years working in EDII.
