Senior Recruiter (Northern Africa)

Michelle has successfully completed four recruitment cycles with within the Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment office. As a proud alumna of Queen’s (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology) Michelle brings a personal perspective when speaking to students and other stakeholders as she incorporates her student experience, success and passion to achieve while sharing the specifics of the admission and application process.

Shirin Shaikh

Recruitment Representative (Middle East)

Ms. Shirin Shaikh has joined Queen’s University as a Middle East North Africa (MENA) Recruitment Representative based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Shirin has more than ten years of experience in operations management and education counselling services for student recruitment in various countries such as the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. She is dedicated to empowering the youth by providing the best guidance for their future, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about building relationships. She has lived and worked in Mumbai, India, in addition to her professional experience in the Middle East. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and is currently learning Arabic. Shirin enjoys traveling and is also a talented cook.

Only applicants to Arts and Science, Commerce, Health Science and Engineering and Applied Science will be automatically considered for these awards. 

$100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)

Principal's Scholarship

Principal's Scholarships are awarded, on the basis of academic excellence, to students who are in the top 5% of the competitive admission average for each first-entry undergraduate degree program.

Total value: $7,000

International Admission Scholarship

All programs of study will be automatically considered for this award, no application is required. 

Total Value: $9,000
