IT Services is pleased to announce that we have negotiated a Queen's VIP account with Adobe, meaning staff and faculty at Queen's are now eligible to download Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Express.
The newly available discounted pricing for the full Creative Cloud Suite and Adobe Stock Library is $144/user annually. An additional "light" service offering, called Adobe Express, is available for $10/user annually. This $10/user will be absorbed by IT Services at this time, resulting in no charge to departments for this service. These discounted prices will result in cost savings in excess of $65,000 for the university.
There are two options included in the Queen's VIP account:
Option 1: Adobe Creative Suite - All Apps
Adobe Creative Suite - All Apps is best suited for those who are heavy graphic design or video users within their role at Queen's. The service costs $144/user annually and includes:
- Use of 50 apps, such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
- Access to the Adobe Stock library of assets, with unlimited licenses (excluding premium and editorial content)

Important: If you are a current Adobe Creative Cloud user, you must download any work or data before switching to the new contract. Your old account will be deactivated and its content deleted when you switch to the new contract.
Option 2: Adobe Express
Adobe Express is best suited for those who require light graphic design capabilities, such as for creating social media graphics or quickly editing photos. Adobe Express costs $10/user annually, which will be absorbed by IT Services at this time. It includes:
- The Adobe Express App, Premiere Rush and Premiere Rush Mobile, Photoshop Express, Spark Video and Spark Page
- Adobe Express users have access to the Adobe Stock Photo collection of 160 million royalty-free Adobe Stock photos (excluding premium or editorial content). Limited Adobe Stock functionality is available on the web page and video features.
