Your Role as Champion
- to spread awareness of the need for employee donations and the impact they have in our community.
- engage with department managers and directors about having a United Way guest speakers at a future department meeting.
- These speakers come from diverse backgrounds and can be paired with your department to speak about topics that best relate to your department/area.
- addressing challenges in our Queen’s community
- spotting opportunities to support Queen’s United Way campaign

The United Way annual campaign is the largest community fundraising effort, helping thousands of people through collective action, raising funds that will then be invested in local programs. 70% of funds raised are through workplace campaigns.
