Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major, is one of the most celebrated choral works of the Baroque period, renowned for its radiant energy, vivid instrumentation, and soaring vocal lines. The work is divided into twelve movements, each highlighting different facets of the Gloria, or "Glory to God." Its vibrant, expansive sound is complemented by intimate moments of reflection, creating a powerful contrast between exuberant praise and meditative reverence.

The second half of the concert celebrates new compositions as the Orchestra takes the stage to perform compositions from our very own DAN School students. We are very excited about showcasing our very own talent.

Student composers include:
Freddy Baker, Sinfonietta
Timothy Burgin, Catastrophe
Helena Cheu, Red Iron River
Elena Whittam, Ad Astra
Noah Ullmann, Journey’s End
Christiaan VanZyl, Scenes from the Summit
