Chris Brown is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who now calls Wolfe Island home. Brown has accompanied dozens of notable musicians on stage, including The Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip, and B.B. King, among many others.
As a duo, Brown is joined by the “lusty alternative Joni Mitchell” (New York Times) and
“National Treasure” (CBC), Kate Fenner. Brown and Fenner have been making music together since their meeting as teenagers in Toronto. During high school and years following, they recorded and toured extensively with Toronto’s Bourbon Tabernacle Choir, whose diaspora contributes to music far and wide.
They take to the Isabel stage for the first time alongside American jazz and folk rock bassist, guitarist, and singer-songwriter, Tony Scherr.
