Consent Action Week is an educational initiative happening across Ontario universities, including Queen’s University. This week is a chance to reflect on what we’ve learned about consent, take meaningful action, and explore new ways to foster safer, more inclusive communities.
Through a variety of workshops, events, and opportunities for connection, we’ll:
- Teach new skills for practicing consent in everyday life
- Develop mindfulness techniques to manage stress and build self-awareness
- Strengthen solidarity with survivors of sexual violence
As part of Consent Action Week the following workshops are also being offered:
- January 19 - Bystander Intervention Workshop (Virtual) Through the Gender Based Violence Awareness and Bystander Intervention Program. Register Now!
- January 20 - Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships Workshop (In Person) Through the Gender Based Violence Awareness and Bystander Intervention Program. Register Now!
- January 24 - Bystander Intervention Workshop (In Person) Through the Gender Based Violence Awareness and Bystander Intervention Program. Register Now!
Together, let’s commit to building a culture of consent on our campus and beyond—one action at a time.
Event highlights will include opportunities to learn, engage, and connect with peers throughout the week. Stay tuned for the full schedule and registration details!
