16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence 2023

The 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Girls is an international campaign that takes place each year. The campaign begins on November 25th (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) and ends on December 10th (Human Rights Day).

Monday November 27th at noon - We will be hosting student leaders on Instagram Live @QUSVPRS to talk about what it means to be an activist at Queens and how we can Listen, Learn, and Act in our community to combat gender-based violence. 

Wednesday, November 29th from 1pm - 4pm   Join SVPRS, facilitators from the GBV and Bystander Intervention Program, the Shift Project, Interval House and student groups in the University Centre for information about 16 Days of Activism, our open workshops for students about consent, healthy relationships, bystander intervention and responding to disclosures. Learn about the work of Interval House and how you can support organizations in our community. Come and make a button, and grab some stickers and resources!
