The hard land breathes when he plows;

Shel Krakofsky has five poetry collections, the most recent being Stanley Cup Seder. A retired physician, he lives in the farming community of Komoka, Ontario. His poetry is displayed in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in St Marys, Ontario. He writes music with Canadian composer Dave Dresser.
