Bare bodies at the top of Mount Kinabalu
on the island of Borneo, the highest peak,
     where it’s considered sacred –
like a voice coming
from the great wilderness.

Here four young people –
including a brother and sister
from Canada      wanted to see
     how long and how bare
they could be, nothing less.

Poem, in its entirety, is available in the printed version of the current issue.
