Summer 2024 - Guiding Lights

 

Slowly, they start to gather their things and board the bus. I take the time to extinguish the fire and load the last of the supplies. Just before I board the bus myself, I hustle to take one last photograph, another long exposure shot. With my camera pointed to the north, I adjust from a portrait to a landscape setting and am about to click the shutter when something catches my eye.

    The horizon is glowing …
