Winter 2024 - Blue House on the River Delta

Most of what we know about the Canadian poet-photographer Solus Hall comes from his letters to his hometown of Leighton Saskatchewan. Letters in his early life (1934–1949) were typically addressed to his friends, family, and colleagues, but in later years (1950–1972), he wrote primarily to a married woman named Cleo Rivera – a close friend of Hall’s until he relocated for university. It is through Rivera that we know of Hall’s last known photograph – Blue House on the River Delta
