The Queen's Student Alumni Association (QSAA) invites students and visiting alumni to enjoy Spirit Corner during Homecoming 2024. Each year, thousands of alumni return to Kingston to celebrate Homecoming, reconnect with classmates, and learn about university initiatives, research, and the exciting work being done across campus. Celebrate your tricolour spirit with face-painting, sign making, and a communal banner which will be walked during the Alumni Parade. While attending, you'll have the chance to meet current students and alumni from a variety faculties and years.
The QSAA will have paint and brushes available for use as well as a communal banner. Should you wish to make a sign, please bring your own postboard. Spirit Corner will be held in front of Grant Hall on University Avenue. This event is a celebration of your school spirit and the pre-event to the Alumni Parade in which alumni and students are led by Queen's Bands on a march through Kingston which ends at Richardson Memorial Stadium. Don't forget to buy your tickets to the Homecoming Football Game, our most popular Homecoming event which will take place at the stadium shortly after the parade concludes.
We are committed to inclusivity and accessibility. Volunteers will be available for direction should you like assistance in making your own creation. This event is hosted outside on pavement and subject to changes in weather. Shade and shelter can be found in Grant Hall or under nearby trees over uneven terrain. A gender neutral accessible washroom is located on the first floor of Grant Hall. Please contact us about your accessibility requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
