The QRDC will be partially opened to researchers as of April 12, 2022.
Although there is still some on-going IT work to restore us to our full operations, we are happy to offer three workstations available to researchers from 9:00 am 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.
A few additional things to note upon our re-opening: Research Data Centres are Statistics Canada premises and must be compliant with the Government of Canada’s policies and directives. Please remember, that while some provinces are starting to relax restrictions, Research Data Centres follow the guidelines of The Public Health Agency of Canada and Health Canada and work closely with Occupational Health and Safety at Statistics Canada (OHS) to ensure the protection of Statistics Canada employees and researchers. Based on guidance from Health Canada, OHS will now be providing medical grade masks, for your safety, when you arrive at the Queen's Research Data Centre. They will be near the entrance the QRDC and will be required to be worn throughout your time within the centre.
