Welcome to the Queen's / RMC University Astronomy Research Group (QUARG)! The QUARG consists of eleven faculty plus post-doctoral researchers and graduate students working on a broad array of astronomical and astrophysical research topics. The fields of interest within the group include:
- Astrophysical Magnetic Fields
- Cosmology, Dark Matter and Multi-Messenger Astrophysics
- Data Science and Machine Learning
- Extragalactic Astrophysics and Structure Formation
- General Relativity
- Interstellar Medium
- Planetary and Star Formation
- Stellar Structure and Atmospheres
- Structure, Dynamics, and Evolution of Galaxies
Our research group also benefits from close interactions with the Particle Astrophysics research group at Queen's. Our combined research groups provide a unique research environment in Canada for anyone interested in the search for and study of Dark Matter in our Universe.
