Biography

B.A., Honours (Philosophy), Queen’s University

Paige is interested in Aesthetics, Environmental Ethics, and Socio-Political Philosophy. Her studies focus on the ways aesthetic tastes and consumer habits (such as buying into cultural micro-trends and fast-fashion) negatively impact ecosystems, and how we can feasibly orient our lifestyles to relieve environmental strain and combat excessive consumption. She seeks to analyse the morality of our aesthetic preferences, unsustainable consumer practices, and their connection to our duty to protect and preserve the natural environment.
