Andrew’s research focuses on critical animal studies, and pays special attention to the ethical, political, and philosophical relevance of the rich cognitive, social, and cultural lives of nonhuman animals. He is also interested in the philosophy of race, particularly the intersection of race, ethnicity, and nationality in the Latin American and Latinx context.
