Queen’s Partnerships and Innovation is pleased to report the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 11,859,081 entitled, "Biobased Additive for Thermoplastic Polyesters," on January 2, 2024 to Naqi Najafi Chaloupi, Marianna Kontopoulou, Heather Leigh Simmons, and Praphulla. The patent relates to a new class of biobased material that offers a sustainable, environmentally-friendly solution for packaging and other applications.
